ELMORE COUNTY, Idaho — A teenage driver from Mountain Home died early Saturday morning when his pickup truck rolled over on a rural road in Elmore County.

According to the Idaho State Police (ISP), the single-vehicle crash happened Oct. 25 at 12:36 a.m. on NW Outback Road south of NW Carl Hickey Road.

The driver was heading north in a 1987 Dodge Dakota when the truck left the road and overturned. Police said he died at the scene.

A teenage male passenger was flown by air ambulance to a local hospital. His condition was not immediately available.

Police said neither the driver nor the passenger was wearing a seatbelt.

ISP continues to investigate the crash.
