AUSTIN, Texas — At least one person was reportedly shot as police responded to a shooting at the Austin Public Library downtown on Saturday.

Around 12 p.m., the Austin Police Department said it was investigating a so-called "deceased person call" near West Cesar Chavez and San Antonio streets. It's unclear if the incident was related.

According to KVUE Senior Reporter Tony Plohetski , authorities were working to clear the building.

No other details are available at this time. Police are expected to provide more details in a media briefing.
