Chicago-based nonprofit Strides for Peace will host its third annual Gun Violence Prevention Expo on Thursday, November 20, at UIC’s Dorin Forum, 725 W. Roosevelt Road, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is free, open to the public and registration is available online here.

This year’s Expo, themed “ Bridging Divides, Building Safer Futures, ” will unite community organizations, civic leaders and advocates committed to collaboration, resource-sharing and holistic solutions to reduce gun violence in Chicago. The theme reflects Strides for Peace’s ongoing mission to build unity across sectors and create safer, more connected communities.
