LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- A 17-year-old boy was stabbed around 1:30 a.m. Saturday in downtown East Lansing after a fight near the Charles Street Garage by Ann Street Plaza, police said.
He was stabbed multiple times and went to the hospital. Authorities said his injuries are not life-threatening, and he underwent surgery.
The case remains under investigation.
About 40 minutes later, police took a report of an unarmed robbery near Albert Avenue. The victim told officers $30 was taken. Investigators do not believe the incidents are connected.
