Fire crews responded to Howland's diverging diamond Saturday after a vehicle fire was reported around 10 a.m.

21 News crews on the scene reported that all northbound lanes were closed. Howland Township Fire Chief Raymond Pace told 21 News all lanes are expected to be reopened around 1 p.m.

A full-sized truck caught fire on state Route 46, just south of the diverging diamond, according to Pace. The fire was on top of the truck's gas tank but underneath the bed of the truck, Pace said.

The driver of the truck walked away uninjured. No firefighters were injured.

The fire has been put out, but traffic is still slow-moving.

Howland Township's diverging diamond is located at state Route 46 and state Route 82, near the Eastwood Mall.
