Rim of the World Masonic Lodge and Big Bear Masonic Lodge will celebrate their 75th and 100th anniversaries, respectively, at two Nov. 9 events.
The day begins with breakfast at 9 a.m. at Rim of the World Masonic Lodge, 26012 Highway 189, Twin Peaks. Lunch will be at 1 p.m. at Big Bear Masonic Center, 385 W. Summit Blvd., Big Bear Lake, with the grand master and his officers attending, according to a news release.

Freemasonry is a fraternal organization dating back more than 300 years.
The Big Bear Masonic Lodge, founded in 1925, meets 7:30 p.m. the second Thursday of each month, according to the lodge’s website . Those who are at least entered apprentice Masons are invited to attend by calling 949
