A woman found dead in the street in a popular seaside town was 'discovered by passers-by', locals have said.
An 18-year-old man remains in custody on suspicion of murder after the woman was found on in the Morfa area of Prestatyn, North Wales, shortly before 8.40am yesterday.
Formal identification of the woman has not yet taken place. North Wales Police officers continue to investigate at the scene today, and the force confirmed extra officers would be in place in the area this weekend to provide support to the community.
Officers are not "actively looking" for anyone else in connection with the investigation, they added.
