Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the Rockwood neighborhood before 3 a.m. Saturday, according to a news release from the Gresham Police Department.
As officers responded to the 17500 block of Southeast Stark Street, the shooting victim was driven to a hospital in a private vehicle. The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening, according to police.
Officers found evidence of gunfire in the parking lot of a strip club, but there was no suspect at the scene.
This was the second shooting this month in the same block. Police responded to a shooting shortly after midnight on Oct. 13. A vehicle and a business were damaged, but no people were reportedly injured in that shooting.
