Hurricane Melissa has formed in the Caribbean Sea. The storm's top winds are now 75 mph and it's slowly moving WNW at about 1 mph. Melissa is expected to get even stronger over the next couple of days.

Melissa is expected to move close to Jamaica by Sunday or Monday, where it could become a major hurricane. People in Jamaica and Haiti should prepare for strong winds, heavy rain, and dangerous flooding.
