The Kansas City Chiefs ' passing offense is firing on all cylinders as the reigning AFC champions head into Monday night's Week 8 matchup against the Washington Commanders.

That being said, the Chiefs' run game hasn't been great to this point in the 2025 season.

Superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the Chiefs' second-leading rusher through the first seven games of the year. The 2025 NFL MVP candidate has been forced to use his legs more than usual due to a lack of production at the running back position.

Isiah Pacheco leads Kansas City in rushing with just 271 yards and one touchdowns. Kareem Hunt, who suffered a bone bruise on his knee this past Sunday, is the team's third leading rusher with 205 yards and three touchdowns.

Seventh-round rookie Brashard Smith has 67 rushing
