FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Washington Regional Medical Center has announced plans to rebrand a hospital it recently acquired.

Earlier this week, Washington Regional entered into an agreement to assume the operations of Physicians' Specialty Hospital in Fayetteville, effective Dec. 1.

The medical center said in a news release that the hospital would be renamed to Washington Regional Physicians’ Specialty Hospital.

Physicians’ Specialty Hospital, located at 3873 Parkview Drive, has been part of the Northwest Health system since 2016. The release said that the 20-bed facility features five operating rooms, a procedure room, an imaging suite, a laboratory, and emergency care services.
