We did the math. Below are the sectional playoff brackets for public-school football teams.

USA TODAY NETWORK New Jersey calculated the power points, OSI and UPR for every team to determine the 2025 playoff brackets.

While we are confident our calculations are correct, these brackets are not official. The NJSIAA will release the official brackets on Oct. 26.

The public-school playoffs begin Oct. 31 with sectional quarterfinal games hosted by the better seed. The non-public brackets will be seeded on Nov. 2.
