BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office says a monthslong investigation into cocaine distribution resulted in the arrest of two Hilton Head Island men.

Xavier Alexander Rosa-Cabrera, 41, of Puerto Rico, and Rey-Agustin Zamora-Perez, 38, an immigrant from Mexico and in the U.S. without permission, are charged with the sale and distribution of cocaine and trafficking cocaine, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies say undercover agents with the sheriff’s office and the Drug Enforcement Administration made contact with the two men, which culminated in an undercover purchase of cocaine.

The agents executed search warrants at their Hilton Head Island home after the arrests, where they seized approximately 4 grams of cocaine and more than $25,000 in cash.
