NEW DELHI: Govt is planning integration of three key media-nodal bodies - Registrar of Newspapers for India (RNI), Central Bureau of Communication (CBC, formerly DAVP), and Press Information Bureau (PIB) - to create a unified and more responsive system for communication and public outreach. The move, as per senior officials, aims to streamline information flow, strengthen journalistic access to authentic data and empower regional media with quicker updates and contextual material.
