MADISON, (WKOW) — Weather enthusiasts gathered in Madison for the second annual Wisconsin Weather Festival, part of the 10-day Wisconsin Science Festival.
The event featured interactive experiments and live demonstrations. Meteorologists, climatologists, and scientists from southern Wisconsin helped attendees understand weather measurement, forecasting, and reporting.
Visitors met experts, handled meteorological equipment, and tried making their own forecasts.
“This is part of the Wisconsin Science Festival, a big 10-day event that showcases all sorts of great science happening across Wisconsin,” said Chris Vagaski, Wisconet program manager.
