Hoboken will begin a street redesign pilot program on Grand Street next week as part of the city’s Vision Zero initiative to to reduce traffic deaths and injuries.
The Grand Street Complete Streets Pilot will transform the corridor between Third Street and Eighth Street with new safety infrastructure, protected bike lanes, and improved parking management.
Construction work begins the week of Oct. 27, with the pilot launching Nov. 3.
“This initiative builds on Hoboken’s progress toward safer and more sustainable streets,” Mayor Ravi S.
