The issue of classroom complexity can only be tackled after teachers come back to schools, Premier Danielle Smith stated on her Saturday morning radio show.

The premier received a deluge of questions and concerns from Albertans, moderated by the show’s host Wayne Nelson, on the province’s approach to the three-week long teachers’ strike on issues of minimum wage, classroom sizes and the bargaining tactics.

Alberta finance minister Nate Horner indicated earlier this week the province will table back-to-school legislation on Monday, Oct. 27, which orders teachers back to school and removes classroom complexity from the bargaining table.
