ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - After a person was found dead from a hit-and-run in Rex earlier this month, Clayton County police are trying to find the suspect.

On Oct. 17 at around 8:30 a.m., officers were called to Highway 42 near Sunset Hills Boulevard in Rex, where they found the victim. Police believe the person, who has not been identified, was hit between 11 p.m. and midnight the day before.

Officers believe the car involved was dark gray or black. It likely has damage to the front end on the passenger side, as well as the mirror.
