It’s not just the mayors of Toronto and Los Angeles making friendly wagers over the Blue Jays vs. Dodgers World Series matchup — the local zoos are also in on the action.
The Los Angeles Zoo posted a video of staff chanting, “Let’s go, Dodgers!” and challenged the Toronto Zoo: if the Blue Jays win, the LA Zoo will change their logo to a Blue Jay. If the Dodgers win, the Toronto Zoo will have to swap their Blue Jay logo to a condor, a large bird commonly seen in California.
“All the #GuardiansofWild here in Toronto and across Canada are READY! Game on, friends #WANTITALL #GoJaysGo,” the Toronto Zoo posted, accepting the challenge.
