Buffalo, N.Y. ― Syracuse freshman Sadiq White will miss the Orange’s exhibition game against Buffalo on Saturday night, according to a team spokesman.
White, a 6-9 forward, is being held out of the game because of an upper-body injury, according to SU’s director of athletic communications Pete Moore.
Syracuse and Buffalo are scheduled to tip-off at 7 p.m. at the KeyBank Center in downtown Buffalo. The game will be live-streamed on Cuse.com.
White was ranked the 27th player in the 2024 recruiting class by both ESPN.com and 247Sports.
Syracuse, which is coming off a 14-19 season, will play a second exhibition on Wednesday against Pace at the JMA Wireless Dome.
The Orange’s regular season opener is on Monday, Nov. 3 against Binghamton. That game is also at the JMA Dome.
