If you didn’t think the zero in the goal column next to his name was bothering him, Viktor Arvidsson showed just how heavy the weight was when his bank shot tied the game at 1-1 on Saturday.
With his teammates crowding around him in celebration, the veteran mimed the old monkey-of-my-back motion after his first goal as a Bruin.
“I think I’ve been all over it and shooting a lot and it was nice to see one finally go in,” said Arvidsson after the Bruins’ 3-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche. “I thought our line (with Pavel Zacha and Casey Mittelstadt) was playing good in the last three or four games. We’d been creating and scoring. It just hasn’t been me who has had the last touch, so it was nice to have it today.”
