JAMESTOWN — Nobody was even close to Ruby Ihmels on Saturday.

The reigning Class A cross-country champion, earned her second state title in two years at the 2025 NDHSAA Class A State Cross-Country Championships.

The junior broke the tape at 17:06 — 45 seconds faster than her WDA championship run two weeks ago in Williston. She finished the course 65 seconds faster than second-place finisher Mykenna Johnson of Fargo Shanley.

Owen Hintz of Bismarck High won the Class A title with a time of 15:27.
