IOWA CITY — For the second straight meeting, Iowa football held Minnesota to zero touchdowns inside Kinnick Stadium.

The outcome of this one went a little better, though.

The Hawkeyes' 41-3 win over Minnesota in Week 9 saw Iowa jump on the Golden Gophers early, then put things on cruise control en route to the biggest margin of victory in the series since 2008.

Minnesota was eyeing back-to-back wins in Kinnick Stadium for the first time since 1979 and 1981 after its controversial 12-10 victory in 2023. Iowa made sure that wouldn't happen.
