HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Crews from the Honolulu Board of Water Supply are repairing a 12-inch water main break in the Kalihi-Palama area.

At around 1 p.m. Saturday, BWS said the break is fronting 717 N. Vineyard Boulevard, between Palama Street and Pua Lane.

Officials have closed the middle and eastbound traffic lane.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes if possible.
