SHREVEPORT, La. — AT&T engineers told Caddo Parish commissioners it’s squirrels, not trees, behind Broadmoor’s internet outages.
The telecommunications giant is currently rolling out a $2.1 billion plan to replace copper with high-speed fiber statewide.
Regional Director LaVar Greenhouse briefed the Caddo Parish Commission on the project, telling members residents could soon see faster internet and fewer outages.
“We’re replacing copper with fiber: five-gig capability and investing more than $2.1 billion statewide,” Greenhouse said.
