Texas Longhorns Quarterback Arch Manning left Saturday's game against Mississippi State with a head injury during overtime.

At the start of overtime, the Longhorns got the ball first, and on the first play of the period, Manning took the ball and scrambled for a first down.

He took a brutal hit from a Mississippi State Bulldogs defender, keeping him on the ground until medical personnel came and helped him off the field.

The redshirt sophomore gingerly walked off the field and went straight into the medical tent.

After the game, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian addressed an injury.

"Steve Sarkisian doesn't have an update on Arch Manning after he left the game in overtime, says he'll have more information on Monday," I nside Texas wrote on X.
