The Los Angeles Lakers secured their first win of the NBA season on Friday night when they defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 128-110, led by superstar point guard Luka Doncic.
Doncic recorded 43 points on Tuesday night in a loss against the Golden State Warriors and against Minnesota he topped it by putting up 49 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists, while LeBron James remains sidelined with a sciatic issue.
Doncic's performances was quite historic as he not only became the first player in NBA history to record 40-plus points, five-plus rebounds, and five-plus assists in the first two games of the regular season, but he also recorded the most total points through the Lakers first two games in franchise history.
