COLUMBIA, S.C. — The Midlands will wrap up the weekend on a seasonable and mostly dry note, but changes are on the way as rain returns to start the new week.
After a chilly Saturday morning with lows in the upper 30s, temperatures rebounded nicely under partly sunny skies with highs reaching the low 70s.
Saturday night will bring lows into the mid to upper 40s across the Midlands. Skies overnight will be partly cloudy.
Clouds are expected to increase on Sunday. While skies will turn mostly cloudy by Sunday afternoon, the area should stay dry through the entire day, making for a decent day to get outside before the rain arrives. High temperatures on Sunday will reach the upper 60s across the Midlands.
