OGDEN, Utah - The one-two quarterback-running back punch of Nate Bell and Jared Taylor led Eastern Washington (4-4) to another win, this week at the Weber State Wildcats (3-5).

Bell threw for 169 yards and a touchdown to Jaxon Branch, while old quarterback-now running back Jared Taylor scored two touchdowns from short range.

EWU trailed 7-0 early, but added a touchdown and safety to lead 9-7, before a Wildcat reply took the 14-9 lead, their final time in front today.

Eastern then scored two quick touchdowns to end the first half, and despite six-straight punts on offense to end the game, the Eagles defense held.

EWU brings their three-game win streak back to Cheney against the Sacramento State Hornets next Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
