Now he wants his players to ride the wave of expectation and turn the tide in the blue sea of Ibrox. ‌

The new boss will take charge of his first home game this afternoon having never been near the ground before his appointment last week. ‌

He knows there’s a job in store to get Gers back on an even keel after a disastrous start to the season sunk Russell Martin and left the side stranded 13 points off leaders Hearts.

Rangers haven’t won a league match at home since May and toxicity levels plumbed new depths with the Englishman at the helm.

But Rohl is convinced he can bring a synergy back between the fans and the players - and knows winning is the only way to achieve that.
