WATERTOWN — Repeat was the key word in the 19th South Dakota State Competitive Cheer and Dance Championships that concluded on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, in the Watertown Civic Arena.
Class AA teams wrapped up the two-day competition on Oct. 25. Class A squads competed on Oct. 24.
In Class AA, Brandon Valley won grand champion honors in dance for a fifth-straight year, and Harrisburg defended its title in cheer.
In Class A, Sioux Valley won the cheer division for the 19th consecutive year and Dakota Valley the dance division for the 16th-straight year.

Brandon Valley's run in dance continued with the Lynx with 40 points (total score of 592.5) to win the 18-team division.
The Lynx were followed by Harrisburg with 39 points (583.5), Yankton 37 (578.0), Sioux Falls Washington
