Two people sustained serious injuries after a gas cylinder exploded at a hotel near Chikiti bus stand in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Sunday. The incident occurred when cooking was in progress at the establishment, leading to a sudden explosion that caused panic in the area.

Following the explosion, the injured individuals were immediately taken to a local hospital in Chikiti for initial treatment. They were later shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur for further medical care as their condition was reported to be critical.
