East Lansing — For so many years in the Michigan-Michigan State rivalry, the team that dominates the running game has won.

Michigan relied on 276 yards rushing, the bulk coming from Justice Haynes and Jordan Marshall, to help lead the Wolverines (6-2, 4-1 Big Ten) to a 31-20 victory over Michigan State on Saturday night at Spartan Stadium.
