The Aurangabad railway station in Maharashtra’s Nanded Division under South Central Railway has been officially renamed as Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar railway station. According to the press release signed by the South Central Chief Relations Officer, A Sridhar, the change has been approved by the competent authority. The station will now operate under a new code-CPSN.
The bilingual release clarified that the name “Aurangabad” shall no longer be used in official railway communication, and all the references to the station would now appear under the updated title.
