A Coventry man who bombarded police with 70 calls in one month has been arrested. CoventryLive previously reported that the individual, who has not been identified, was issued with an official warning.
He was given what is officially known as a Community Protection Notice (CPN) for repeatedly calling 999. This CPN is a legal notice issued that warns that if their persistent behaviour continued, they could face arrest.
In a weekly update for the ward, the Radford and Holbrook neighbourhood police team said that the individual has been arrested. This is for 'continuing to telephone the emergency number'.
