100 Years Ago, 1925: Ailing for more than a year, the Rev. Cornelius F. Patterson, chaplain at the Convent of Our Lady of Angels, connected with the mother house of the Sisters of Saint Francis at Glen Riddle, died early yesterday. He had been stationed at Glen Riddle for 28 years. Father Patterson was born Nov. 25, 1848, at Philadelphia. Upon completion of his studies in the schools of that city he commenced preparation for the priesthood, at St. Charles Seminary at Overbrook.
75 Years Ago, 1950: Edgmont Avenue will be reopened to all traffic today or Friday and will be kept open until after the holiday shopping season, it was learned today. According to E.J.
