NORMAN, Ok. (WLBT) - The Ole Miss Rebels kept their SEC Championship and College Football Playoff hopes alive with a key SEC win on Saturday against the Oklahoma Sooners, 34-26.
The Rebels were able to bounce back after the loss to Georgia thanks to their potent offense and a defense that stepped multiple times in this game.
Trinidad Chambliss continued his impressive season on Saturday, finishing 24-of-44 for 315 passing yards with a touchdown. He also tallied 53 yards on the ground on 12 carries.
Both teams exchanged field goals at the start of the game, but the Rebels found the first touchdown after an eight-play, 75-yard that was capped off by a 28-yard rushing score by Kewan Lacy.
