From Air Force to farming: Dexter woman produces healthy produce for University of Michigan

LIMA TWP., — When Christine Baker started a garden at her home just outside of Dexter, it fulfilled a dream to grow fresh foods for loved ones.

Baker, also a local yoga teacher, turned to farming after a career in the U.S. Air Force and a stint as an ROTC instructor at the University of Michigan. She recently retired from the university, as well.
