Meet the new shelter director helping tackle Ann Arbor’s growing homeless problem

ANN ARBOR, MI — Nicole Adelman is no stranger to the work the Shelter Association of Washtenaw County does to serve the Ann Arbor area’s growing homeless population.

“I’ve been in its orbit for basically my entire career,” she said. “Everything I’ve done has some kind of overlap with housing and homelessness.”
