Union Home Minister Amit Shah will perform the bhoomi pujan for the new Maharashtra BJP office building at Churchgate in Mumbai on Monday. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, state BJP president Ravindra Chavan along with other ministers and office bearers of the party will attend the ceremony. The multi-storied office building will be on the lines of BJP’s party headquarters in New Delhi.

“As per the plan, the new building will come up on the plot at Churchgate. It will be technologically advanced, spacious and equipped with requirements needed for the party’s expansion,” a BJP source said.
