Benjamin Sesko insists he was always determined to join Manchester United ahead of sealing his 'dream' switch to Old Trafford despite significant interest from elsewhere, including rival Premier League sides.
The Slovenia international completed his move during the summer as part of an attacking rebuild by United. Sesko was the sole recognised striker United brought in as they invested £200million in their forward line, also securing Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.
They faced competition for the striker's services, with Newcastle even making the first approach for the former RB Leipzig star.
