Manchester United rolled back the years with their performance in the win over Brighton, while also seeing a glimpse of a brighter future.

That's according to a number of national media titles, who saw Ruben Amorim's side win three games on the bounce for the first time under his leadership, moving into the Premier League's top-four ahead of Sunday afternoon's games.

United had come unstuck in previous encounters with Brighton, but rose to the occasion and saw signs of progress in their project.
