NEW DELHI: Yet another attack on a woman has been reported in the national capital. A female student has been attacked with acid in Delhi. The victim is a second-year undergraduate student at Delhi University.
The attack took place while the student was on her way to college. According to reports, three young men followed her and then carried out the assault. The acid attack caused serious burns on the girl’s hand.
One of the accused, identified as Jitendra, had earlier followed and harassed the girl. He, along with Armaan and Ishan, allegedly planned and carried out the attack.
After attacking the student, the trio fled the scene. Delhi Police officials told the media that a manhunt has been launched to catch the accused. The injured student is currently undergoing treatment at a hospi
