LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Firefighters were called to a south Lincoln house fire on Saturday.
The fire was reported at 1:03 p.m. near South 46th and Stockwell streets.
According to a reporter at the scene, as of 1:19 p.m., Lincoln Fire and Rescue was still responding to the fire, and smoke could be seen coming from the house.
LFR said the electrical fire started in the laundry room and was contained. The fire was put out within eight minutes of LFR’s arrival.
No injuries were reported from the fire. LFR estimates around $45,000 in damage.
