FRANKLINTON, La. (WVUE) - A Ponchatoula man and his 6-year-old son are being sought by Washington Parish authorities concerned about the boy’s welfare, Sheriff Jason Smith’s office said Sunday (Oct. 26).
A BOLO (be on the lookout) alert was issued as authorities seek Joshua Beall, 45, and his son Noah, the agency said.
According to the WPSO, deputies were called about a domestic incident Saturday at 9:53 p.m. The agency said Joshua Beall was accused of using a hunting knife to injure his wife, then fled the scene with the child in a 2000 gold Ford Ranger.
“Law enforcement is concerned about (Noah’s) welfare,” the sheriff’s office said.
Beall’s truck bears Louisiana license plate Y464010, the agency said.
