Hyde residents have spoken of their terror after they spotted youths roaming their area and 'aiming fireworks' at their houses last night (October 25).

Ring doorbell footage shared with the Manchester Evening News shows what appears to be a group of teens entering a park before proceeding to set off a number of fireworks by the entrance.

A number of flashes and thick smoke can be seen just metres away from the teens, who then appear to run away as the fireworks continue, sending sparks flying. View 4 Images

Separate footage shows what appears to be the same group running away from the scene off Douglas Street in Hyde .

Greater Manchester Police confirmed that they attended the scene, but that the group had left by the time officers arrived. View 4 Images
