India ended the group stage with an abandoned fixture en route to the semi-final of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, after their clash against Bangladesh on Sunday, 26 October, in Navi Mumbai was marred by persistent rain. Despite the interruptions, India dominated proceedings in a truncated 27-over-a-side contest.

After being put in to bat first, Bangladesh were under pressure from the opening over and struggled to build momentum due to a lengthy rain delay.
