Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told The Athletic's Dianna Russini that the team didn't call the Las Vegas Raiders in an attempt to trade for star pass-rusher Maxx Crosby. He did, however, suggest that the team was looking for help on the defensive side of the ball, but not specifically for a pass-rusher.

“I would say, without incriminating any area of it,” Jones said, “it would be a defensive player. But not a pass rusher.”

However, a new report from Fox NFL insider Jay Glazer directly contradicts Jones' comment while adding another star pass-rusher to the fray. On Sunday, Glazer reported the Cowboys called both the Raiders for Crosby and Cincinnati Bengals for Trey Hendrickson.
