Alexander Zverev fell short against Jannik Sinner at the Vienna Open, even after taking the first set against the Italian.

Despite Zverev’s pre-match praise for Sinner, he quickly took a one-set lead against the world No. 2.

Sinner responded well, turning things around to win the next two sets and continue his impressive run of form on indoor hard courts. The win also marked his second Vienna Open title.

Following the match, Zverev had a message for the Italian after suffering his fourth defeat to him.
