The first half of the New York Jets game against the Cincinnati Bengals is in the books, and the Jets are trailing the Bengals, 24 – 13.

The game opened with the Jets on defense. They immediately allowed a long Bengals drive before the Bengals ultimately kicked a short field goal for an early 3 – 0 lead.

The Jets took over on offense and turned the ball over on downs on an ill-conceived fourth down rushing attempt deep in Jets territory. The Bengals got the ball and quickly scored a touchdown on a Joe Flacco tush push goal line run. The Jets were already down by double digits and there were still more than five minutes left in the first quarter. Needless to say, things were not looking good for the Jets.
